With all the buzz going around, I wanted to do a review on Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush Review. I have been on the hunt for cream blushes that would suit my darker skin for a while. I was overjoyed when I say the promo on this launch. Summer is a great time to change the formulation of products you use in order to flow with the season.

In my mind, I wanted a pink that would give me that high end like flush of color. Insert Strawberry Drip, a soft coral pink per the Fenty Beauty site. I tried to get this in my Sephora Sale haul however the Rouge girls had other plans. I ordered directly on a Sunday and had this pretty in my hand by Tuesday.

Instructions on the site state to use your fingers to apply. I’m someone who doesn’t like touching my face I opted for a brush. I chose a dense buffer brush so that it would allow me to get the full-color payoff without being streaky. The trick with applying cream products is the tools you use. If you opt to use your hands, make sure they are clean and warm the product up a bit so it applies evenly.

I was astonished at how pigmented this was on one application. It’s a buildable formula so if you need more you can add but it if your on the go, one swipe and your out the door. If your skin is more on the dry side you can apply and move on with the rest of your makeup. For longevity with my combo skin, I applied a pink blush on top in order to set and give the blush a dimension.

Fenty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blushes give me a high end feel without breaking the bank as cream blushes can be a bit pricey. The color selection is quite nice however, I would love a true hot pink that is made for darker skin. I also find these work well with my other products. In the past with other cream blushes, they may not play well with foundation making it patchy. After you have made your foundation perfect the last thing you want is for your blush to mess it up.

To wrap this up, I’m in love with this cream blush. It hits all the things one would want in a cream blush, pigmented, wide assortment of colors, and long-wearing. This definitely falls under the splurge category which I made a whole post on which products to spend and those you can save on.
